Air-cooled class (3-day) is the prerequisite for the Commercial and Commercial I class. This class allows a technician who is assigned to an appropriate service dealer to perform warranty repairs on all air cooled products.

Training dates :
Installation class (1-day) as no prerequisite. This class instructs proper installation requirements, best practices and code considerations for Air-Cooled and Liquid-Cooled Res/Com standby generators. Students receive a combination of classroom discussion, instructor led demonstrations and hands on student testing of several transfer switches, remote monitoring, complete testing of an installation to include gas piping, regulator selection and load testing.

This 3-day class allows a technician who is assigned to an appropriate service dealer to perform warranty repairs on liquid-cooled Nexus gaseious and Evolution, Protector Series gaseious/diesel products up to 150 kW gaseous products. (Does NOT include H-panel or Evolution controlled Protector Diesel).
Required on-line classes – (Learning Center) Basic Electricity, Basic Generator Theory, Air Cooled Engines, Schematic 1, Introduction to Protector Series Diesel Generators and Installing Liquid-cooled Residential/Commercial Generators.
