History

In 1948 Joseph-Augustin Faguy, grand-father of Roger Faguy, founded J.A Faguy & Fils Ltée with his sons Raymond, Jean-Paul and Marcel. Before refocusing all their efforts on the design and distribution of power generators, the company solely specialized in carburetors, starters, injection systems and other mechanical/electrical car parts.

In 1989, after over 20 years in his grandfathers business, Roger Faguy invested 1.2 million in power generators and started his own rental business. GROUPE ROGER FAGUY was born. From day one, they have offered quality brands ranging in power from 30 kW to 1200 Kw.

Embracing his father Marcel’s philosophy, service is Roger Faguy’s top priority; such a quality has built the groups reputation.

The company continues to progress steadily earning an enviable rank in the power generator industry.

In 1998, Generac cancels their arrangements as sub-contractor for Caterpillar and gives the entire distribution of their products exclusively to GROUPE ROGER FAGUY. This marks the beginning of a fruitful association. Today, Generac’s reputation is associated with GROUPE ROGER FAGUYS efforts.

Due to the quality of service associated with the Faguy name, the following years only show signs of growth for the company.
